I had the opportunity to spend a wonderful day with a wonderful friend.
We were surrounded by friends and family, we had a chance to talk and visit with each other and everyone we met as we walked around.
it was like a humongous family reunion.
The sun was shining and there was a soft breeze.
I could smile, really smile for the first time in months and I was happy.
I didn't feel awkward or uncomfortable, just happy, content.
It was the nicest feeling to just enjoy the moment.
To just enjoy that moment and that day was a great gift.
i am very thankful I was able to, no intrusions or discordant events.
Just Joy...
Yes there were some there that were enduring pain and illness but I could feel their joy too. They were happy to be there also.
That made me very happy as well.

Black Friday was a hectic day, getting up at the crack of dawn.
Before the sun even got up, standing in the cold and wondering why the heck we were there. Then when we were allowed inside the store standing in line for over an hour and a half just to buy one thing.
On the way home we stopped and ate breakfast at McDonald's.
When we got home we looked thru the paper and I noted a few places I wanted to go and find a nice new mommy gift for my sister.
I went to the mall, I did find her a nice new robe and pajama set.
Met a friend and had a snack, went to Hastings and Toys R Us together.
I enjoyed the day, it was nice to visit with a friend, walking and talking.
Looking at everthing, sitting around and just talking.
I found a cute little giraffe for Regan, and a book Sidney has been wanting.
But all in all it was a hectic day that turned into a nice enjoyable one.
When I got home My sister and her daughter Marissa were there.
I gave her the new robe and pajamas, she loved it, (I made sure they were the really soft kind). Then my nephews showed up. We played games and went outside later and played with a soft ball.
Then later we made a bunch of pizzas and snacked.
I was very tired at the end of the day, but very happy.
I had fun and enjoyed every moment I spent with everyone I care about.
It was another wonderful day.....
