I think these came out as Japan Mini LP versions a year or so ago. I wonder how these compare soundwise. The Water Somedays You Eat The Bear/Vally Hi CD is fantastic

I have the Jap mini-LP's; they sound great, were remastered.

Oh, yeah: I also have the Water 2-on-1 "Valley Hi/Somedays..."; it does sound better than my Japanese "Valley Hi" CD released in the 80's (a lot of Japanese CD's released back then had average sound quality). Ian Matthews was in his prime for these two albums. They were at the top of my want list for years, as I tried to find the Line Records German release of both albums on one CD.

iain matthews is a very underrated and underappreciated artist.

many do not realize just how much music this man has made.
