I didn't really notice how many hit songs have some form of stuttering in them. The obvious ones being:

"My Generation" --- The Who
"You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" --- Bachman Turner Overdrive

Then there are subtle songs like:

"She's So Cold" and "Monkey Man" --- The Rolling Stones

" Foolin' " --- Def Leppard

And stuff in between like:

"Benny And The Jets" --- Elton John
"Shakin'" --- Eddie Money

What else is there?

The spontaneous stuttering Van Morrison did at the end of "Moondance" may have been because the studio was too cold.

There's a stutter near the end of "I'm Alright" --- Kenny Loggins

Randy Bachman's Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet was recorded as a joke for his brother George, who had a stutter. The stuttering version was the joke track, but it turned out to be the best cut.

Bachman reprised the stutter in "Sweet Lui-Louise" by Ironhorse, which is basically a shameless rewrite of "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet."

"Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns N Roses...

Axl's "sh-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-knees" was always just so enviable to me.

There was a concert by Bachman and his Guess Who bandmate Burton Cummings (very frightening in a jet black wig) on PBS this year that featured both GW and BTO material. Bachman said the guy from the label listened to the album and didn't hear a hit so he said, "What else you got?" They put on "Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet" and he said, "That's it!" They all thought he was crazy but you can't argue with that kind of success.
