Among my least favorite forms of punctuation, obnoxious unless used sparingly and, sorry to say, they tend to dumb down any sentence in which they're used, yet here at IMWAN I find myself using them all the time!

Unsurprisingly, I am not a fan of the exclamation mark, except when used in dialogue to indicate that someone is shouting.

Sorry, I just watched 2 TOS episodes that I had DVR'd. Your reply sounded like a stoic Mr. Spock. Now that I know you dislike using exclamations, I'm stuck with it as your voice. If it makes a difference, he is my favorite TOS character. Could be worse, Rob sounds like Larry Fine to me.
