My Mother was recently gleefully telling my partner of the time that she found my home made costume under my bed back when I was eleven years of age. After burning with embarrassment I did recall my outfit reasonably well it was a silver jubilee Union jack T shirt and red swimming trunks over my mom’s black winter tights. This outfit was topped off by a hand cut and sewn mask made up of the bottom section of a black elastic trouser leg. Yes I looked hideous. Sadly I do not remember what my super-name was.
Did any of you guys or gals prepare yourself for a career as a sidekick or even fully fledged superhero and just never get around to finding a crime to sort out?

Of course, I'm assuming you mean when I was a youngster.
If you are talking about a more recent time, then I REALLY have no idea what you are talking about!

As a kid, I remember them selling Superman underwear-- where the undies were red and the elastic band was yellow. Imagine them pulled over blue jeans and a scarf tied around my neck. Whee!
