I voted 'other' - and my pick is the first Man-Bat story, where the bad guys have all sorts of gadegetry that allows them to see in the dark, etc. Cool story, great art (Neal Adams), and I love it.

Shadow of the Batman is the best way to define the series. It's the Steve Englehart Detective run that he did (first with Walt Simonson, then with Marshall Rogers).
He had a great cast, including Silver St. Cloud, Hugo Strange, Rupert Thorne, the Joker...
