So, Strider vs. Elrond one fall to a finish? While I'm all for continuing LoTR development projects, I'm not sure Prof. Tolkien would approve...

How about Gary Sinise as Hal Jordan, Ed Harris as Sinestro, Selma Hayek as Katma Tui, and Neve Campbell as Carol Ferris?

Gary Sinese is a good actor, but he's too homely to play Hal. Ed Harris would make a good Abin Sur, but not Sinestro.

I'd start with Hal Jordan. You could always do Kyle or John later if the actor playing Hal wanted too much money for the sequels.

I'd cast Josh Duhamel as Hal. He's a talented actor and I think he'd look the part.

I suppose Sinestro would be the villian. Perhaps I would cast Jason Isaac in this role. Can't go wrong with Jason Isaac as a villian.
