I was going to add this to the old posts from a few months back, but they aren't coming up in search. I listened to the 2 Tubes shows streamed on W.G. tonight & I have to admit that while I was highly critical of WG in the past, these 2 streams were of perfectly acceptable quality for PC listening. Greatly improved from when they started . I also played a lee Michaels show that was ok but not as hq as The Tubes. I'm guessing in addition to good source material they've also upped their bit rate. BTW the 2 shows were pre A&M & entertaining although definitely early.

Now if they'd just add a lossless option for their download purchases. I really want to own these Tubes shows, but buying an MP3 is against my morals, kind of like voting or Bush (well not at all that bad but you get my drift!)
They've also got a good portion of the CSNY 6/70 shows up, but I haven't played them yet. I own 6/6, & as it's excellent there definately is top notch source material for those shows somewhere.
Addition: I played one of he CSNY shows, sound was again very good, but the streaming server kept cutting out.
I REALLY HOPE THEY"LL ADD THE PROMISED LOSSLESS DOWNLOAD OPTION. They'ev promised it, but no eta so far. That is the most requested item on their boards by far, though lately it seems 1 mp3 fas chosen to not state their disagreement at all politely......
