Eighth anniversary bump.
This morning I learned that another former library staff member died last night. We think it was some kind of heart attack. She was far too young to experience something like that. She was the mother of three children, the youngest only seven. They had been living with grandparents for some time. That suggests that something was very wrong in their mother's life. Trying to avoid making assumptions until I have more information. At any rate, it's tragic news. And to think it came on this anniversary....

Sorry to hear about that. Maybe she had ongoing health issues?
Strange that it happened on the same day, though.

Turns out she had had a bad bout of COVID and had never fully recovered from it. The family's having trouble paying for her funeral. We're trying to help out, and are sending flowers from the library. I'll be out of town when they have the funeral, so I'll miss it. Her children's situation is heartbreaking. The oldest is seriously autistic.
