On December 9 I ordered a New Order Low-Life box during their Christmas sale. One week later they sent an email stating it was on backorder, and since then nothing. I tried to reach out to their customer service but got a generic response. If anyone else has experienced something similar, in your experience did they eventually fill the order? Or did they just cancel it after a period of time? I really want this set, and the price was really good. But I'm afraid it might just be a limited run and that they will just cancel my order.

My experience with Rhino is 0 for 2. They are very slow to process orders, for one thing. I ordered from them twice and had to chase down both orders. The Doobies box set I ordered and had to check on it after two or so weeks. Some guy wrote back and agreed it should have shipped. He refunded my shipping because of the unexplained delay. This past Dec. I ordered the Joni Mitchell quadio set only because it was not available on Amazon. I had the same experience as with the Doobies. I had to chase it down and got an answer that the problem was with the tracking?? The tracking said it was waiting for the package from the shipper. After I sent another email they finally shipped it after another week or so. Best thing I can say is I finally got the set. Rhino.com stinks at quick shipping or even standard shipping. I would only order from them again if I was desperate for something I couldn't get anywhere else.

Thank you ericsen. I was considering getting the Alice Cooper Muscle of Love set, but I guess I'll continue holding out hope for AmazWAN release.

I use Rhino about twice a year and am happy with them. Generally it's taken them about 7 days to ship stuff after I place the order. I have no problem with that. The thing I like about them is they will package box sets in an appropriately sized box and pack it well, so it won't come all dinged up as it does from most of the other big retailers. I will gladly wait a few extra days to get my stuff in mint condition.
