Description
Originally released in 2000, MY FAVOURITE HEADACHE stands as the sole solo album by the renowned RUSH bassist, Geddy Lee. This is the first pressing since a limited edition Record Store Day Exclusive in 2019.

Lee said of the album, "I think I backed into this project. I've never had a great desire to make an individual statement, and I certainly didn't want any more attention. I satisfy so much of my musical self in the context of Rush, so I don't have any great frustrations from that point of view. But once in a while, you'd wonder, 'What's it like out there? What's it like to work with other people?'"

Lee explaining how he wrote the lyrics for MY FAVOURITE HEADACHE: "Most people are like this: They think of stuff during the day. The mind goes to certain places, they remember things, and they try to figure things out. To remind yourself to write that stuff down is a great benefit. Then you come back to it and you analyze it days later, and lyrically shape what you felt when you wrote it down. For me, how I feel about what I wrote down turns into a song."

No info yet. Will this be a straight reissue, or something more? We shall see.

I loved the Victor album (new cover coloring is pretty cool; maybe Duran Duran or Culture Club turned it down in 1984), Geddy’s was rather boring, but decent.

Probably straight reissues, but if they’re remastered and repackaged, I might be interested.

I never had these, so I'll bite. I heard they were decent but not great. But that's okay. Filling a void for me.

I played each one once and then got rid of them. Just not for me.

Cardboard sleeves.

However... these are now being solicited as Deluxe Editions, and full details are in the first post. It's easy to see why Victor is deluxe (remastered, remixed, bonus tracks, improved artwork), not so easy for My Favourite Headache. But Warner says that the spelling of "Favourite" in the title will be fixed in the final release (we don't have updated artwork for that yet).

Packshots have been added to the first post. (And as Warner promised, the title of My Favourite Headache is now spelled correctly even for the USA pressing.)
