Completely forgot about Tool's Lateralus, Dave Matthews Band's Everyday and Elton John's Songs from the West Coast from 2001, Peter Gabriel's Up from 2002, Incubus' A Crow Left of the Murder from 2004, The Rolling Stones' A Bigger Bang from 2005, Caedmon's Call's Long Line of Leavers and Share the Well from 2000 and 2004 respectively, not to mention Enya's A Day Without Rain and Amarantine from 2000 and 2005 (all of which are just as excellent as the other albums I've mentioned this decade). See I really do have a difficult time narrowing it down to just one album per year lol.

I don't remember the years of release, but John Legend's first two sat well with me.

Rich, I'm surprised you didn't add the O Brother soundtrack to your list of great country albums released this decade since I personally feel it's one of the greatest and purest country albums ever made but to each his own I guess. Also I would have added Peachtree Road and The Captain and the Kid to my own list but out of all the albums Elton's released this decade that I've heard I feel that Songs from the West Coast is the one that holds up the best to repeat listens and is a modern day classic, but still his other two have great songs on them too.
