Man, I had to convince my self a bit on the Moving Pictures box (because that's my favorite Rush album), but this one is a harder sell for me. No 2- or 3-CD set (as yet), but at $230 list (from Rush Backstage), this is tough to swallow. One CD, no live show, and five pieces of vinyl? I think I'm going to have to wait for a much better deal.

I'm with ya. No live stuff is an abomination. The only reason I bought recent MP release was for the live discs..... which turned out to be light years better than the Exit live album.

My favorite album ever made.

My first tour I ever saw in 1982 (with Rory Gallagher opening!).

I’m hoping there’s a scaled-down version just for the Abbey Road remaster.

If there isn’t one, I’ll be furious.

I have several live recordings from this tour (NY is the best one I have), and they easily could’ve found one!

They best include the alternate versions of songs that were on the DVD-A in the Sector 3 box (a few of those are radically different).

This looks to be a huge bummer though.

One report I saw said three formats - the box, a picture disc, and a streaming Dolby Atmos mix.

These Signal re-releases are just as worthless as the latest Pink Floyd The Dark Side of the Moon re-releases. Super Deluxe Edition now equals Bundle of Nothingness.

That saves me money.

What a joke this is.

Fans are blasting it for good reason.

I'm not as big a fan of this album as IP, but The Analog Kid is top-shelf quality Rush. No question about that. Great, great song.

In anticipation of next week's release, the American pre-order price has dropped by $17, down to $212.99:

Yeah, it's a bit pricey but at least the CD can be purchased on it's own.

SHM-CD. CD Japan does not mention the packaging, so it's likely in a standard jewel box. When adding the shipping costs from Japan, it's actually a bit cheaper through Amazon USA if you get a free shipping option.

I looked at the link and it’s the same exact packaging as the original remaster, though it is the “new” remaster from 2015.

The new artwork and booklet are absent as well and from what I read this remaster is nothing notable.

Thanks for posting though.

My favorite album truly got awful treatments from Mercury.

Quite possibly, the worst special edition box set since Peter Gabriel’s “So”. They couldn’t add a live show?

No non-album songs, no alternate versions of songs, no live tour. Some lame animation.
All for $150.

Still happy with my Signals Blu-ray bought back in 2015. Always loved the vinyl back in the day and the CD is good too. But to have Signals in 5.1 takes the cake.
