Speculation is that the star of HBO's "Lovecraft Country" is playing Kang the Conqueror.

That makes sense, because Kang and Ant-Man are antagonists in the comics going back to Avengers #8.

Kang did have a minion called Growing Man, which would fit here.

Marvel has announced the title for this movie -- Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania -- and pushed back its release to February 17, 2023.

The release date has now been pushed back to July 28, 2023.

In other MCU Films and television shows over the last year or so, some of the events of ENDGAME seem to be common knowledge. At least, people seem to know that the Avengers were responsible for simultaneously undoing the Snap and defeating Thanos when he returned to Earth. I think it would be cool if Scott Lang's pivotal role in making all of that happen is known to the public and that he is something of a celebrity. It would be a fun turn-around from his previous status as slightly infamous ex-con, then convicted criminal under house arrest, then the guy who vanished for five years and no one remembered. Instead of being ignored or looked down on, now he is one of the most famous people on the planet.

We know Ant Man became popular enough that Rogers: The Musical retconned him into the Battle of New York from the first Avengers movie.

I had forgotten that. Scott incorporated some Pym tech into a few arrows for Hawkeye as well.

I suspect the shorter post-production time will be to the movie's benefit. I was doing a little idle math and realized that past MCU movies usually made it to theatres around 8 months after wrapping principle photography, whereas the 2023 slate will have all been in the cans for over a year by the time they come out. I guess it's good if they're using the extra time to make the movies better, but Chloe Zhao probably didn't improve Eternals all that much by fucking with it for an entire additional year, while audiences went berserk for Spider-Man and Shang Chi which were completed on a pace more in line with previous productions. Quantumania sounds like it has the potential to be baffling af, which probably won't get any better with an extended schedule to tinker with the edit.
