Description
Boston 1971: A historic early recording of Aerosmith in their rehearsal room - just the band, crew and friends captured on Joe Perry's tape recorder. This never-before-heard performance showcases the early, raw talent of this future Hall Of Fame band, one year before signing to Columbia Records, and two years before their eponymous debut, which featured many of these songs, including their enduring anthem "Dream On."

Actually, this was an “RSD First” release, so it was going to get a wider release eventually.

Granted, some “RSD First” releases in the past never got released again, so...

Really enjoying the hell out of this one.

Has a great raw feel to it with a lot of energy and it's interesting to hear them so early on doing embryonic versions of songs that would mostly end up on the first album.

I hope we get more stuff like this from their new arrangment with Universal.

Amazon shipped mine on Friday, tracking isn't working, it says it could still show by Thursday. I guess I haven't heard it in 51 years, another week or so won't kill me.

I imagine we'll be getting catalog remasters. The selling point for me will be bonus tracks and if they're worthy of me buying these CDs again.
