I believe that Neil Young's "Cortez The Killer" is a previously unreleased acoustic version supposedly from the Paramount Theatre, Oakland, California, March 20, 1999.

I got a new copy of that extended cut with the Stillwater EP when it first came out. I quite like those songs, and since I already have them, I really don't feel the need to get this expanded set.

There are at least twice as many songs on the 5-disc version though.
Speaking of which... damn, it looks absolutely awesome. But the price is extremely high. Not sure I can justify the price. Maybe at $100 shipped.

It just looks like different versions of the same 6 songs though.

I think this is the first time I have ever seen this: the deluxe 5 CD set is more expensive then the 6 LP deluxe vinyl. In the U.S. it's a dollar, in Canada $4. Not a huge deal, but not a direction I care for. The vinyl version went live first in Canada, and it was $188.97, so I figured the CD version would be around $130-$140. It's $192.73. $40 a CD? I hope this is an anomaly and not the pricing of the future..

I received my Super Deluxe edition today. The inside packaging is shaped like a loose leaf notebook without the metal rings. The RS extra looks cool and has the entire 8-page (or so) article on the band. The 5 discs are placed in holders over the back three pages. A little flimsy, but the outside case is a hard shell that will protect it all. Listening to come.
