In celebration of the 50th Anniversary, George Harrison’s, All Things Must Pass is being celebrated with a suite of new releases highlighted by a stunning new mix of the classic album by Grammy Award-winning mixer/engineer Paul Hicks, overseen by executive producer Dhani Harrison. The Super Deluxe Edition CD collects 70 tracks across 5 CDs including 47 (42 previously unreleased) demo recordings, session outtakes and studio jams all housed in a beautiful slipcase. A Blu-ray audio disc presenting the main album in hi-res stereo, 5.1 surround and Dolby Atmos is also featured. The collection contains a beautiful 56-page scrapbook curated by Olivia Harrison, with unseen imagery and memorabilia from the era, handwritten lyrics, diary entries, studio notes, tape box images, a comprehensive track-by-track and more. It also includes a replica of the original album poster.

We've been digging through mountains of tapes, and they just kept coming -- boxes and boxes of them. Making this album sound clearer was always one of my dad's greatest wishes and it was something we were working on together right up until he passed.

There was a significant, but odd Harrison copyright dump a few days ago--a slew of alternate takes uploaded to Allmusic.com, but one could only listen to 30-second -previews.

It's all gone now, unless one has the link to Google's cached version of the page. Not sure if it's OK to share the link to something like that.

i agree, i will most likely get this this just for that reason.

i, for one, am not at all a big fan of phil spector's wall of sound. ELO has that same sound because jeff lynne produces everything like spector, even the wilburys.

springsteen's born to run' is also very 'wall of sound' almost to the point sounding like a mono rcording.

I didn’t love the previous attempt at a remaster so hopefully this floats the boat. Though this is one album that is needed to be owned on vinyl like we did in the 70s.
