Description
While it may not have topped best Bowie album polls, the second and final Tin Machine studio album from 1991, Tin Machine II , is considered an overlooked gem by those familiar with it. Indeed, Tin Machine II ’s reputation has only increased over the years. Uncut magazine placed the album on their list of 50 Great Lost Albums (their list of albums not currently available for purchase), calling the album “extraordinary”.
Originally released by Victory Music, Music On Vinyl gives Tin Machine II its first vinyl re-release since the 1991 original, and it’s pressed on coloured vinyl for the very first time. The initial pressing is a limited edition of 5000 individually numbered copies on silver coloured vinyl.
The CD is released simultaneously on Music On CD (MOCCD13972) - both the LP and the CD versions feature the hidden and unlisted instrumental track: Hammerhead.

I remember not buying this when it came out because they censored the cover.

Oh I bought it, but it pissed me off! I'm sure that we're all pretty much like when it comes to censored material, even if it's the cover.

I didn’t buy it either because of the music though I am a big Bowie fan. Still don’t own it. Guess I should revisit Tin Machine at this point.

I think other than the Hunt Sales vocals on Stateside, it's a great album. What I'm upset about, is this probably means there won't be a box set #5 focusing on Tin Machine.

Is this a remaster or just a straight reissue? Sorry if I missed this.

"Music On CD" is Sony UK's reissue label. Usually, they're straight reissues with no new remastering.
