Time to recognize another milestone decade birthday. Happy Birthday to one of my favorite singers. Retirement from music and the road did you well. Keep making great art.

Wow. She's one of the few who sang at Woodstock who are still with us. She has an amazing voice.

I LOVED her with the Airplane. I also like that she was at least close to knowing when it was time to retire. By her last few Starship recordings (mostly live) she had lost her voice & was flat more often than not. Fortunately, not many people have heard those (at least a couple were released officially).
