Description
The Super Deluxe 25th Anniversary Throwing Copper box set edition not only features the album with bonus tracks on 2LP black vinyl, and a 12-page booklet with an in-depth interview with the band chronicling the era of the album, but it also contains 2CDs with a 26-track lineup that includes LIVE’s previously unreleased, explosive eight-song performance at Woodstock ’94 on a separate disc.

I will definitely spring for the box set on this one as I listened to this constantly for two years but it is also the first album I ever noticed that was mixed too loud. I don't expect it to be toned down at all here,though.

The three outtakes are nice to have as bonus tracks. "Hold Me Up" finally gets an official release after initially surfacing in Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno but not appearing on the film's soundtrack. "We Deal In Dreams" was included as a previously unreleased track on the 2004 Awake: The Best Of Live compilation. This is also the debut of the studio version of "Susquehanna" (a live recording can be found on the Mental Jewelry (25th Anniversary Edition) 2CD set.

Also absent is the "White, Discussion" Sam Sever Remix, originally released as a 1996 single and later included as a b-side on some versions of "Lakini's Juice". Perhaps on a future anniversary edition of Secret Samadhi...

So no straight 2-CD version? Very disappointing.
