Bannings: If you're not nice
Description After playing on other artists' recordings, the Atlanta Rhythm Section formed their own group, in which the group's name was thought up by Studio One's owner Buddy Buie and his two partners in the venture, Cobb and Bill Lowery. Signed by Decca Records, the band released their first album, Atlanta Rhythm Section, in January 1972. This Eight CD set features all the albums the band did for Polydor along with a raft of edits on CD for the first time, all re-mastered (by Andy Pearce and Matt Wortham) and housed in a clam shell box with an extensive booklet with new notes and album annotations, the perfect beginner's guide to one of America's most loved bands. I was hoping for bonus tracks. Surely there's some stuff in the vaults. Different edits don't interest me.

I "invested" in the Japan SHM releases so I am all set. Nice Rock N Roll Alternative here though if you don't need the first two albums.

8 CD's in a 'clam shell box with an extensive booklet" that, in itself, would be something to see. very nice price though, a little more than $6 per CD.

Band founder JR Cobb passed just a few days ago. Only two of the originals left I believe.

Mine too. Thanks to a £5 promo that I had forgotten about it worked out £25.06 which equals just under $34CDN. Can’t imagine it getting any cheaper than that. What about the import duty fee they charge. Does that get refunded if no duties are charged?
