Keane announced on social media today that they are recording a new album, which will be released later this year.

One of my favorite bands from the 2000s.

Simply love these guys.

Glad to see the hiatus is over.

This will be one of the few new albums I purchase.

This will also be an immediate purchase for me. Great band, IMO.

I love this album.

Incredible production and mix, and the songs and melodies are wonderful.

Nothing can top Under The Iron Sea, but this album is a pleasure.

What are your thoughts on Hopes and Fears? That's the only Keane album I own, so wondering how it rates in their catalog. Should I explore more?

Hopes and Fears was great and remains so.

It established their sound and had lots of hits and still sounds fresh.

I highly recommend all the albums, but Under The Iron Sea is a masterpiece and “Atlantic” is one of the best songs ever written.

That song moves me to tears and I’m using it this year in my Language Arts class.

Yes. I think you do. Cheapest way to start may be to pick up their hits collection. There's a single discer that tells the story succinclty. There's also one with a 2nd disc with obscure cuts. I wouldn't necessarily pick that one up right away.
