It has been said that when an artist starts doing covers albums, they've exhausted their mojo. Jules has been doing a lot of duets and covers albums lately, and has admitted losing some of her inspiration.

I just wish for this project she had covered ONJ's early tracks, such as If Not For You, What Is Life (her 3rd US single, yep a George H cover, no national chart action but they played it in my hometown), Let Me Be There, If You Love Me Let Me Know...

Beneath the grunge guitars and indie attitude, Juliana Hatfield has always had a pop sensibility. I'm really not that surprised she is a long-time Olivia Newton-John fan. None of us will know if this works until we hear it, but I think it could be fun.

I'm looking forward to this album, I think it should be fun.

For myself, I loved her 2016 album with Paul Westerberg, and her "Pussycat" album should end up in my top 20 list whenever it gets finished. I think she's still on top of her game.

Lawrence, Pussycat did come out last year. I have the 24 bit edition. There is a standard 16 bit edition also. It may have been through Pledge, I don't remember. I also honestly don't remember what I thought of it. I've liked her entire catalog. The last one I went totally gaga over was 2011's (I didn't realize it was that old!!) There's Always Another Girl.
