I held off on Endless Wire...2 cd set I think...found it in the used bin for $3.98
Some times you get what you pay for.

Some times you get what you pay for. Yeah, I bought all the post-Moon releases cheap used. I also quit buying Townshend's solo albums after "All the Best Cowboys...". I think his song-writing took a real dive in the early 80s.

I don't dislike any Who album, even Endless Wire. That said, my least played ones are:
Endless Wire / It's Hard ("Eminence Front" is among my favorite Who songs, though) / Sell Out

Endless Wire was endless torture.
Absolute garbage.
A glorified album of bad Townshend solo demos with Daltrey singing in a low register.
The "mini-opera" was atrocious.
