It means that Neil and/or others own the rights to the record. It is their private property. They are free to do with it what they want.

oh i get that, i don't get that this is being released before the 2 box sets and this new thing "hitchhker" that no one knows anything about but it is being floated out there.

so, that's 4 things in the works from the neil young camp.....not including the supposed CSNY reunion.

So, what about the whole Archives Vol. 2 thing. Did Neil just give up on that or what?

I read somewhere last year that it's supposed to be out this year. The entire series will done sometime around 2107, maybe.

I'll be getting this. I wore out both tapes and LPs of this classic. Like The Doors "13" the song order is imprinted in my brain.

It's a fantastic collection. I wanted the LPs on RSD but held back. I'll be getting this, though. The remastered Neil Young CDs have all been great.

I enjoyed this album when it came out. I especially enjoyed Young's liner notes on the songs. They were fun to read, as I recall.

I've probably already posted this, but I loved it so much I spent $18 wholesale in the early 80's (equivalent to $30 today??) for the Japanese Vinyl edition.
