I'm so glad they are going forward with the catalog!
Of course, as far as bonus cuts go, the two Works albums will be tough, since Works Volume 2 was a mix of new songs and outtakes.
I really hope Love Beach (yes, I'm serious), In Concert (or Works Live as it's now known), Black Moon, Live at the Royal Albert Hall and In the Hot Seat (it's awful, but there are gems) get the treatment.
I like completion!

I love "Canario", it's a masterpiece and the only Classical composition on here.
I actually am fond of "All I Want is You" and "Love Beach" and "Memoirs of an Office and a Gentleman" is very good but doesn't reach what it strives for in the 20 minutes that it runs.
The rest is atrocious especially the deplorable "Taste of My Love."
And those satin Love Beach jogging shorts, and the chest hair...oh my.
But will they really do the whole catalog?
The first UK batch did but the bonus tracks stunk.
If they do all these I wonder if any bonus material will be included at all.

Oh, come on Linda. See it as (almost) a Greg Lake solo album with Emerson & Palmer helping out.
Look at that way and it can reassessed differently, oh, also don't look at that cover. A joke intended by the band that nobody got. The Bee Gee's would have been proud though.

Actually, Keith had to take the whole album over in the end including production, and I'm sure that's where "Canario" and "Memoirs of an Officer and a Gentlemen" came from.
But yes, some of the Pop crap is Greg and Pete Sinfield's doing.

I had heard this as well. Do you know why that occurred? Also I just read that Greg Lake's bio is due out in September. He had been working diligently from what I understand.

If you're not nice
BMG has now added Works Volume 2 to the schedule, and both volumes will be released in the UK on May 26th as 2CD remasters. We don't yet know who did the remastering, but the tracklists are in the first post.
