This is Mel's comeback.

I'm doubtful that can ever happen after his appearance in The Expendables 3 failed to do so.

It's possible Mel could stage a comeback as a director only; I can see that happening now that enough time has passed with him "in the wilderness" for his behaviour.

He is a damn good director.

It's working really well for Eastwood (not the comeback, but the directing) so why not ?

But, I'm one of the few that never jumped on the "I hate Mel Gibson" bandwagon, so what do I know?
