I just received an email from pearl jam.com. It's saying the Temple Of The Dog album will be getting re-released on vinyl and cd. There will be a single cd , 2 cd deluxe edition and a super deluxe box set. There is no release date set yet. It will contain some remixes and demos.
I'm in !
Update , I forgot to mention they will be doing a 5 city tour in November. NYC , Seattle , LA , SF and Philly.

This is one album I always forgot to pick up -- really works out that I didn't (unlike when I basically bought Led Zeppelin's entire catalog a few years before they started remastering it all).

Pearl Jam and Soundgarden supergroup Temple Of The Dog reform for 25th anniversary tour
Soundgarden and Pearl Jam supergroup Temple Of The Dog have announced they will reunite for what will be their first-ever tour.
Temple Of The Dog were formed by Cornell in 1990 and featured Pearl Jam members Jeff Ament, Stone Gossard, Mike McCready and Matt Cameron. The band released their self-titled debut, and only album to date, in April 1991.
Temple Of The Dog reunited live in 2014 at Neil Young's Bridge School Benefit Concert. They were joined by Pearl Jam's Eddie Vedder (who sang backing vocals on several Temple Of The Dog recordings) at the show. It was the band's first live appearance together since September 2011, having previously reunited live in 2003 and 2009 also.
The band have now announced they will reform for a five-date tour to mark the 25th anniversary of their only album, 1991's self-titled effort. They will play gigs in in Philadelphia, New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles and Seattle. See the full dates below. Tickets go on sale at midday on July 29.
"We wanted to do the one thing we never got to do... play shows and see what it feels like to be the band that we walked away from 25 years ago," Cornell said in a statement. "This is something no one has ever seen. We wanted to stop and recognise that we did this and pay homage."
The band play the following dates:
Philadelphia, Tower Theater (November 4) New York, Madison Square Garden (November 7) San Francisco, Bill Graham Civic Center (November 11) Los Angeles, The Forum (November 14) Seattle, Paramount Theater (November 20)
A reissue of the band's debut album will be released on September 30.

Any reason why this continues to hover over $100, when similar sets (McCartney archive, Listen without Prejudice) are half the price? A Blu Ray can't possibly add $40-50. The Pearl Jam box sets are nicely constructed so is it a matter of expense of the package?
