Henry McCullough, who played guitar in Paul McCartney's band Wings, has died. He was 72.

He died after a long illness. He never recovered after a heart attack four years ago.

He is famous for his lead on the song "My Love" and also played on Paul's "Live And Let Die". For "My Love" his guitar solo was done in one take.

He walked out on Wings in 1973 after a rift with Paul.

He is also heard on Pink Floyd's famous song "Money" saying at the end "I don't know, I was really drunk at the time".

Very underrated guitar player. As John stated his playing w/Paul especially on "My Love" still to this day gives me the "goose bumps". Unbelievable feel.

I also loved his work with the Grease band.

The "My Love" solo was one I always wanted to learn - so tasteful and fitting for the song. So I finally learned it a couple years ago. Or at least most of it - there was one little bit I never felt I had quite right.
