All The President's Men got my vote. It's still such an interesting movie; apart from being based on actual events, Redford and Hoffman are both at their best in it, and really manage to sell the tension and danger of the situation they wind up in.

My kids enjoyed it, too. It had a very unusual tone -- comic booky, a little funny, but it also delivered a lot of heart.
