I very much enjoy 'clean line' comics art.
The Paul Smith art I know (his first {only?} run on X-Men) was just that.

This is my favorite thread on IMWAN. Some great art that I've never seen. Keep it up. Paul Smith draws some of the most graceful figures in comics. I'd love to see him on a Spider-Man project at Marvel, or Captain Marvel at DC. Or really just about anything.

One of my favorites. He fell off my radar when I stopped reading comics in the early 1990s, and I had kind of forgotten about him until his online presence reminded me of his awesome upon my return. Revisited the old stuff. Loved it. Checked out what he had done since. Loved it.

That Avengers thing Gerry posted is one of my favorite drawings ever.

And he's a damn nice guy to boot, funny and humble and self-deprecating and totally cool. We swap some stories about not nice creators around here, and let me tell you, there isn't a bad story to be told about Paul Smith. I'd hop on a motorcycle for a cross-country trip with him any time.

What X-Men issues are those pages from, I have his run on Uncanny, but I don't remember ever seeing those pages before.

Thanks, I'll have to go and find that one now. I always felt his run on Uncanny was too short, maybe one day we'll see him doing another long term project.
