Darlene Love To Release Introducing Darlene Love, First New Album in Decades Album to be released this Fall
Darlene Love will release the new album called Introducing Darlene Love this fall via Columbia and Wicked Cool Records. The album will feature Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Stevie Van Zandt, Jim Webb, Linda Perry, Desmond Child, Joan Jett, and legendary songwriting team Barry Mann and Cynthia Weil, among others.
Stevie Van Zandt arranged and produced the album. “Darlene’s legendary status is well deserved but I felt the time was long overdue to show a younger generation WHY she has earned that reputation. Partnering with Columbia Records is a dream come true because now I know the world will hear her,” he commented.
Darlene Love's last full-length release was 1998's Unconditional Love.
