Yes is one of the most innovative and successful rock bands of all time with a career that now spans five decades. In 2003 the band made their first appearance at the Montreux Festival, despite having a long association with the town itself (they recorded there frequently in the seventies). It was a triumphant night and is regarded by both the band members and fans as probably the finest Yes gig ever to be filmed. It has been much in demand and is now finally cleared for release.

I've got this playing on my DVD player this afternoon as I hang out and read. It is really quite spectacular.

It has Dolby Digital 5.1 and DTS 5.1. The DTS is pretty sweet.

Love the solo Rick Wakeman section.

And I believe the only way to get the CD version (so far) is the Essential 5 disc set that some complained about a couple of months ago.

The Montreux shows usually get released as CD's and with the current box sets getting split into single discs, I'm hoping this one comes out as a single as well. Don't want to rebuy the other four again.

I ended up getting this today from an Amazon seller for about $11.

Sweet!

I just picked up the 2 disc Jethro Tull Live at Monttreux set (promo for $12) and it is very well done. Some cool songs not on past live JT discs. A must own for fans-IMO

The Yes one is next on my list.

Does anyone know if the BLU-RAY version of this And/Or Symphonic Live includes hi res audio? Either 2.0 or 5.1 is fine; but I need to know by early Monday evening.

They're both DTS-HD.

The Symphonic one's DTS-HD MA the other one's plain DTS-HD.

I thought in the realm of audio "HD" & "HDMA" were the same. What's the difference?

The Live at montreux disc lists the audio as DTS HD High Resolution audio[i'm not really sure what the difference is].
