I doubt it--the 1962 box was available as CD-R and downloads, but the 1963 box was vinyl only. (Unless, of course, somebody just happened to distribute a vinyl rip on the internet...)

Friggin' ridiculous! Keep it in the vaults until anybody who gives a rats rear will be too old to hear it or taking a dirt nap and anyone younger will not give a crap and steal a crappy mp3 copy of it just for giggles. Great business model.

Boy...what to say about this set. Although I know it wasn't created and sold with artistic considerations in mind, and although I had no real expectations for it in the first place, I'm glad I wasn't the one paying £99 for this set (although I'm grateful that at least one individual did.) The fact of the matter is that the Royal Festival Hall show and the Newport Festival recordings comprise the only professionally recorded live material in this set. The CBC performances and the Eric Von Schmidt tapes sound decent enough, and the studio outtakes sound great (if not exactly revelatory) but final seven album sides in this set are all audience recordings of shows performed through ancient PA systems, and are difficult to slog through, to say the least--Dylan has the crowd in the palm of his hand, but every time he speaks to the crowd or ad-libs something, it's just not especially intelligible.

If anything, it kind of makes sense why the Philharmonic show in October of 1964 was chosen for the "Bootleg Series Vol. 6", despite the fact that Dylan was noticeably stoned and nonchalant--apparently it is the only professionally recorded concert from that era that is in existence. There's no way that any of the live stuff on the final third of this boxed set will ever see official release beyond a stopgap compilation of this type, despite the multiple indications that the audience at those shows were seeing something special.

That said--the twelve Royal Festival Hall songs are all terrific, and the sixteen "Another Side of Bob Dylan" outtakes are worth a listen as well.
