I'm listening to a CC Ben Webster 1946-51 comp. He's got a guitarist I've never heard of on some of the tracks named Bill De Arango. The guy smokes. I'm going to have to see what else he recorded.

Is there a DG cd with De Arango you would recommend (I'm not a big DG fan)?

I have this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000002WRX/?tag=imwan-20Which is the complete early Dizzy on RCA. Don't know about some of the single cd comps which include some of this material. This 2 cd edition also includes loads of his classic big band with Chano Pozo.
