That's interesting, and somehow reassuring. It makes the whole reboot seem redundant, but it's still a cool idea.

Maybe this will be massively successful and show DC how stupidly wrong they went with the ugly, dark, violent, dismembering Identity/Infinite/Final Crisis debacle. Maybe this will show them the pre-New 52 comics could be fun, and cause a complete reversion. I very seriously doubt it, but maybe.

Probably not but I do think they wonder if they made a mistake with these constant nods to the past universe.

They are the actual JLI characters according to the article.
