Hm. Duck Soup FTW but the 2nd vote makes things tricky. I'm thinking Animal Crackers or Horse Feathers ... but which one?

To be pondered.

The tandem of A Night At The Opera and A Day At The Races. Just like a Queen album.

The stateroom scene in A Night At The Opera may be one of---if not THE---funniest scenes in all the Marx Brothers' movies. And yet, I miss the non-stop wackiness of their earlier films. I can see why some film buffs are critical of Irving Thalberg for sanitizing the Marx Brothers.

Bannings: Bannings? We don't need no stinkin' bannings!
I was thinking of going with Duck Soup and Animal Crackers as well...but Animal Crackers is much more of a statically-filmed musical than some of their other works, making it less appealing to me. So I'll go with Duck Soup and A Night at the Opera.

All valid choices.

The captain is a very moral man.

That line has more resonance if you've been keeping up with the state of higher education in America in recent years.

True. There really isn't any right answer here.

The Marx Brothers movies that I've seen have all been very hit or miss. But they try so much stuff that they all end up with a lot of hits.
