Not this time.

Yesterday, we dragged all the grandparents along to West Virginia and got us one of these...

As if graduating wasn't enough, as we flipped through the list of names in the program, we noticed asterisks by her name - turns out she graduated summa cum laude (thus the blue and gold ropes you can barely see). One of four in her class of 176 (just her school - the university at large had several thousand grads, I think). Although I question how good her education really was - she asked me what summa cum laude was. She didn't know she was graduating w/honors until she registered for the ceremony.

One down, one to go...

And damn, I'm old enough to have a college graduate for a kid!
