I think that today's the day that I need to retire this particular screen identity. I had to think up this screen name on the fly after the e-mail account that had been associated with my previous screen identity went poof (free advice--never use the e-mail address provided by a cable company, as it will only be active for as long as the subscription lasts) and have come to both regret and dislike the name.
Anyway, the e-mail address associated with this current name is actually a school e-mail account, and I have no reason to believe that use of it will be extended to me indefinitely. More to the point--I'm through with school for the time being. It's time to re-enter the working world.
I'm not leaving forever--just need to take a day or two to come up with a better screen name and use a more durable e-mail address. (I've had the same Hotmail address for nearly 14 years now!) Whatever I wind up using, I'll post it here.

You know, Linda can change both your name and the email associated with your account. You don't have to "retire" at all!

This may, however, count as a Leaving the Internet Forever in your statistics...

Can one really leave the internet? Leave the matrix?

But the ones that Mother gives you don't do anything at all.

I did, but all that happened was that I got really angry at Dave Coulier...

So now you'll have three separate accounts where we could have just changed the name on your original account twice? I think you're trying to escape your classic Borders Coffee post.

And I thought you had a scheme that would work to retire before the age of 82!

Chris Evil took the blue pill, but it didn't do anything at all.
Hank, I'm going to miss calling you BM.

As an older male, I have noticed that all the pills are said to increase risk of stroke & heart attack.
And a recent 2nd study showed the same results as the first 1 with testosterone treatments (30% higher incidence of stroke & heart attack than those getting a placebo)
How f'ing special.

Absolutely. AMW wrote: Fuck Borders. For ten years, I've faithfully spent a ton of money to enjoy Borders Blend, the greatest coffee ever made, only to have Starbucks swoop in and replace it with bullshit Seattle's Best coffee. (And the beginning of the end for Borders, as it turned out.)
