There was a tie when we did this over a month ago (I apologize for the delay-working 3 jobs will do that), so here we go...

I voted Petty, but either would be great.
Thanks for undertaking these threads, Pete. We really appreciate it, and don't mind how long it takes. I didn't realize you were so busy working, hope you find some time for yourself in-between jobs, to de-stress and enjoy some music.
By the way, I kinda lost track: did we ever finish the Fleetwood Mac and CCR threads? I don't ever recall seeing the "Then Play On" re-release, or the CCR "Chronicle" collections.
Anyways, thanks again for the time and effort you put into these threads.

Anyways, thanks again for the time and effort you put into these threads. CCR I stopped at the studio albums. Fleetwood Mac is complete and when it comes to remasters I mention them when it comes to those albums. Of course, when the new Mac album comes out I will update it. And thanks for the thoughts!

3 jobs, ouch! Though I'm close: 2 jobs & all the various social service & disability bureaucracies which feels like a 3rd job (& often takes up more time than the other 2 combined)

I hear ya; other than for the filthy rich, this is the worst economy of my lifetime. And when college grads with 3.8 avgs & all of 22 years old can't get jobs, where does that leave old people like us? Minimum wage!

I definitely like them both. I think KC would be more interesting to discuss, but it looks like TP is winning by a landslide.

I voted Crimson because it's truly ground-breaking music and in the 70s especially every succeeding album was like a fresh coat of paint being applied in a musical sense. Petty is OK; I just find his work sounds rather "samey" as a whole if that makes sense. Of course, I'm guessing the same classification could potentially be applied to some of my favorite bands also.
