My wife and I just finished watching this show, and we loved it. We watched all four seasons over the past month, and we were both disappointed when it was over. If you like New Orleans music, blues, R&B, or music history-or if you just love New Orleans, you will love this show. All the big names make frequent cameos-Dr. John, The Nevilles, Kermit Ruffins, Irma Thomas.

I can't recommend it highly enough.

I really wanted to like this series, but after the first season I couldn't get back into it. The music is the one thing that is well done on the show for sure. As you said, it places a lot of great cameos.

As the show went on there was less emphasis on the politics of the storm, and more on the characters. That's why I liked it more as it went on. I thought it was less preachy.

It doesn't shy away from the politics of the rebuilding, but its fair about the problems on all sides.

I'm of the region (grew up in Houma about 60 miles out) and it made me homesick. New Orleans is a weird little city. The morning news shows had all sorts of great musical guests.

I put a few NO songs in the Radio WAN thread. Irma, Kirmit, Dr. John, and a couple of others.
