Boston will be hitting the road this summer for the first time since 2012. The band revealed a series of dates to promote their most recent album, ’Life, Love & Hope.’

The ‘Heaven On Earth’ tour kicks off in Hollywood, Fla. on June 5, and wraps up on August 12 in Springfield, Ill. With most of the concerts centered in June, the band will announce more dates as they become final. The complete tour schedule, as it exists now, can be found below.

Boston, featuring guitarist Tom Scholz as the sole original member, are touring in support of ‘Life, Love & Hope,’ which was released last fall and featured the single ‘Heaven On Earth.’ The album, only their sixth in their nearly 40 year career, features the final recordings made with original vocalist, the late Brad Delp.

The band are offering a limited number of exclusive VIP Packages that include premium seating, pre-show party, exclusive merchandise and more. Check the band’s website for complete information.

Recently, Scholz told us a funny-but-painful real-life ‘Spinal Tap’ story that involved him swinging on a rope above the audience and not being able to stop in time. You can read it here.

Never seem to play LI anymore and Westbury would be perfect for them.

A lot more dates still to be announced.

They should play the Camden/Philly/AC area as they always do.

Could they sell out that place in the woods outside Boston near Patriots Place?

Probably not, but there's a smaller version on Boston Harbor that would be perfect.

I think John was originally referring to Great Woods, aka "The Comcast Center."

And you are right about the Boston Hahbah venue, Herr Smiff.

The Clearwater location is a very small place. I hope they don't play too loud.

Vegas with CHEAP TRICK at the Hard Rock on July 26th. That's the day after Foreigner/Styx/Don Felder. Should be a great weekend!

Btw....that new album is still awful and it would be a bummer to have to listen to even one of those songs. The only good news is they are forced to play a few of the "hits" though I'm not sure how they would sound without the voice of Brad Delp.

And they will play a large venue finally here on LI, the Jones Beach Theater on July 1st. But I will be in Cancun.

I sort of like about 3-4 songs on the new album. I can deal with hearing a few from it, along with classic material. I look at this as a bonus at a Cheap Trick concert! If I can see Cheap Trick with POISON, I can see them with any version of Boston  (I had to sit through Poison because they were sandwiched between Cheap Trick and Def Leppard).

The show will be long and mostly the classics.

I saw them in 2003 and while there were new songs from Corporate America, every classic was played during close to 3 hours.

And, yeah there are 2 or 3 new ones that should be played live as "Heaven On Earth" and "Last Day Of School" are great songs!

Heard XM Radio play the song "Someone 2.0" yesterday as they were promoting a Scholtz interview where he would review the new album (yikes").
That song is very underwhelming.
