After a couple spins, I don't think the new album is anywhere near as good as W H O K I L L. There are some great songs but the production is often too sloppy and Merrill Garbus' vocals seem to cut away when things are sounding interesting. Maybe more spins will make it more appealing but I can't hear it matching her previous work.
