Iron Man 3
Pacific Rim
Star Trek
Thor 2
Man of Steel
Ender's Game
The Hobbit (I'm assuming. )
Wolverine
Hunger Games Catching Fire
Fast and Furious 6

I only will have seen 11 movies in the theater this year, so Gatsby is the odd man out when I throw in the Hobbit.

Still intend to see a fair number of 2013 movies, but they'll be on home video. Despicable Me 2, Monsters U, Gravity, Elysium, Oblivion, and more.

Too soon. There's a good 15 movies opening between now and Christmas Day that I plan to see.

All the "fun" ones have come out by now. The Oscar fodder comes next. At least we get the new Hobbit movie this week. It hasn't been a particularly great year but I've had a few favorites (like Pacific Rim).

Between school, work, and holiday stuff, I don't know that I'll get to too many more movies this year. I am looking forward to Inside Llewyn Davis, The Hobbit, and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Haven't seen Gravity or12 Years A Slave, and I want to see them both.

Haven't seen The Hobbit, All is lost, Captain Phillips or 12 Years A Slave. So, I'm withholding judgement.

I won't see most of these movies till next year so I once again have to withhold comment. :)

The critics/society awards for best picture of 2013 have been all over the place:

New York Film Critics Online: "12 Years a Slave"
Los Angeles Film Critics Association: "Her", "Gravity" (a tie)
New York Film Critics Circle: "American Hustle"

Pretty rough year for movies that I've seen. And also haven't seen some that I'd like (Captain Phillips; Inside Llewyn Davis; Touch of Sin; and 12 Years of Slave), Out of the ones I've seen and in no particular order,

Only God Forgives
Stoker
Gravity
Mud
Trance
Before Midnight
Drug War
Act of Killing
War Witch
A Hijacking

The best blockbuster was probably Iron Man 3 (though I haven't seen Thor yet), but I wasn't that big a fan either. Which is weird for me.

I've seen more movies this year than the last two, maybe three, combined. And I didn't even see everything I wanted to, because good lord is it expensive to go to the theater.

I don't think I've seen 10 new films at the theater this year.

I've seen only four 2013 movies and one of them (IM3) wasn't in the theater.

Always wonder how these critical awards can give out a Best Picture for a movie that hasn't been released yet. The whole quackery is fixed.

They have seen them, and as long as the movie is released before the end of the year, it qualifies.

As of today, it's

1. Gravity
2. Twenty Feet From Stardom
3. Captain Phillips
4. Much Ado About Nothing
5. Iron Man 3
6. The Summit
7. The World's End
8. World War Z
9. 12 Years A Slave
10. Philomena

This may change between now and the end of the year, though.
