I've had time to...er...take a closer look at the tracklisting for this set. *clears throat*. It's a more eclectic collection than the 1962 set, for no better reason than other than the first six songs, none of this stuff is studio outtakes--it's all live stuff from radio shows and whatnot; some of it has been the focus of UK grey-area releases. I'm not sure what international loopholes may or may not be at play here, other than EU copyright law stems from the notion of moral rights, rather than economic rights, and thus has a different approach to live recordings and broadcasts (a performer's consent to be recorded is a far more important legal element overseas; in the U.S., it's more likely to go back to contractual language). The fact that Dylan is a U.S. artist also works against him in some countries, as the U.S. didn't sign on to any of the big international treaties until 1995 or so, and there's apparently limited recognition for U.S. artists in certain places as a result.

I was especially interested in was the two songs from the August 1963 March on Washington--"Only A Pawn In Their Game" did get released on at least one US record commemorating the event, although crossfaded with speeches. I guess I've always wondered whether there was any audio from the event that came from a source other than the original broadcast feed, but that does not appear to be the case here.
