The Only Band That Mattered. It must be said,"Cut The Crap" is the most ironically titled album in history.

I never "got" this band at all, despite their politics apparently being similar to mine.

I remember coming home with London Calling, and thinking it was just one great song after another. Still my fav.

I've never been a passionate Clash fan but I've heard each of their albums at least a handful of times, and the one that always gives me the most pleasure to listen to is Sandinista.

Very much torn between London Calling and Combat Rock. I gave the vote to CR because it's a bit tighter, and due to the sheer awesomeness of Overpowered By Funk.
London Calling, though, is perhaps the most solid double LP of originals ever made. The only thing that could come close would be the Blue and Red albums, if they were all-originals.
Doubling down on that strategy for Sandinista! was not a good idea, though.

London Calling is just perfect from start to finish.
As far as I'm concerned, The Clash were the last great band.

Critics always raved about "Give 'Em Enough Rope", but I never got it. Definitely "London Calling" with a close second being the UK Debut.

The Clash (UK version although I'm fine with the US version).
London Calling is pretty damn good, but there's some filler for me that keeps it from being great. But it is a very close second for me.

Sandinista would've been my favorite minus all of the dubs and side 6.
I love most all of the actual songs on sides 1-5. Side 3 is my favorite

Sandinista could have been a great album if it was a double instead of a triple.
I even still kind of like "Lose This Skin." I gained a greater appreciation for it after I bought Nuggets II and heard "The Bitter Thoughts Of Little Jane." Learning more about Timon Dogg and his relationship with Joe Strummer made the guest vocal make more sense.
