Live At Leeds and Isle of Wight are the only live albums that I play as much as studio albums. The origianl Live At Leeds is pure non-stop energy from start to finish. The expanded version released in 1995 offered more of the same and it's this version which I most play. The 2 CD deluxe edition is one which I never play due mainly to Tommy being separted from the rest of the show as well as the absolute shit quality of the second disc which sounds as if it wwas mixed through a cheap rotary phone.
When I want to put on a good Who show from that era, I listen Isle Of Wight. It's complete. It sounds good and all of the tracks are in the correct running order.

I chose Leeds and The Kids Are Alright because those are the ones I played over and over in my younger days and still sound good to me today.
Toronto '82 would make the list if I could find it with decent audio. I taped it live off of the radio back in the day and played that cassette until it finally wore out.

I went Leeds and Toronto '82. Leeds, as stated, is classic. Toronto has some sentimental value to me - that was the first tour I saw the Who on.

The Best are the ones with the less Tommy. I have been Tpmmy'd out for over 40 years.

I really like the raw sound on Live at the Hull, so chose that one over Leeds. 2nd would be "The Young Vic" live CD that was the bonus disc to the Who's Next deluxe release in '03 I think it was.

Leeds, of course. But for my #2, I picked Toronto '82, which I had a cassette I taped from the VHS of "The Who Rocks America" I'd rented long, long ago. Loved hearing the songs from Face Dances and It's Hard, and Entiwistle's bass was sending out bits of shrapnel on that tour.
