From musictap:

Friday Music plans the Deluxe Edition of two Bad Company classics (Dangerous Age, 1988; Holy Water, 1990). Both albums do not have Paul Rodgers, nor Boz Burrell. But Ralphs, and Kirke still held the fort pretty well. Both albums will be presented as a single purchase, with each CD containing each album. Each album will come with bonus tracks (“Excited” and the rare 12″ version of “No Smoke Without A Fire”, both from Dangerous Age; and from Holy Water, a rare remix version of “Walk Through Fire”). The 2CD Limited Edition features remastered tracks from the original Atlantic masters. This release begins a Friday Music/Bad Company remaster campaign. This set is scheduled for August 27.

I'm interested in this. Both of these albums were very good for what they were and had loads of hits.

Dangerous Age went Gold and Holy Water went Platinum. Holy Water is one of my favorite Bad Co albums.

I just wish these had their own releases. Still nice to see the Howe era getting acknowledged. I'm not sure what other Bad Co releases Friday have in store.

individual releases came out in the not so distant past. I like the band, and liked a few hits from that era, but man listening to the samples of the other tracks... wow a lot of generic, dated and bland 80s rock... this was a case where I actually just downloaded a few songs from Amazon.

I think those were releases on Wounded Bird-just reissues of those albums no remastering or bonus cuts, not that that's a huge deal here.

Some of this stuff was incredibly formulaic and generic, but there were some great songs and so many radio hits. Holy Water was really the best of the bunch from those years. Let's just say lyrics weren't a priority.

Always preferred Dangerous Age to Holy Water. Even though I don't really consider this Bad Company, that record is a particular favorite of that era. Loved Brian Howe's voice. I have no interest in this remaster, though, but I'm glad some people who missed these the first time will get a chance to hear them now.
