IMO Canned Heat is the most under-rated band of all time...it was like a 2 headed monster with the two very different lead singers - Alan "Blind Owl" Wilson and Bob "the Bear" Hite. If only Alan hadn't died so young I have to think the history of Canned Heat would be very different.

This comp tries to take the best of all Alan's material - it is a 2 cd set and it is reasonably priced. Although I have all this material covered - I have ordered it just to have all of Alan's material on one collection.

Very nice collection. I agree that Canned Heat deserved much more recognition.
Wilson also deserved extra praise for his work with the great Son House as well as the groups work with John Lee Hooker.

Just what I wanted, i'll be getting this.

Big fan of Alan Wilson, sad end to a great musician.
