I'm not an expert on this group so maybe someone can chime in here. As best I recall they only had two albums unless they went the reunion route later on (did they?) So does this collection pretty much cover everything they did or are there any big omissions? I have a promo Alison Moyet compilation that includes a couple of Yaz tracks, and I always meant to get more of their stuff.

Here's what I posted at New Wave Outpost:

Interesting collection. It's all over the place. From what I can see, the only tracks missing from their two albums are "I Before E Except After C" and "In My Room" from "Upstairs At Eric's" and "And On" from "You And Me Both". All tracks from the 2008 "Reconnected EP" are included with the exception of "Bad Connection [Subway Collective Broadband Remix]" and "State Farm [Madhouse Mix]". We finally get "The Other Side Of Love" on a Yazoo compilation, both in its original version and remixed extended cut. I think that the real treat here would have been including the full "Reconnected EP" and a remix from the "Nobody's Diary EP" (such as "Nobody's Diary [GRN's 12" Remix])" from 2008 in addition to the rarer mixes like "Situation [Daniel Miller/Mark Saunders Mix]". "Get Set" is, of course, missing again, and I'll assume that "Only You" is actually the 1999 version on the end of the first disc.
The only track that I view as essential from the missing tracks is "In My Room", one of my favorites. In 2010, Mute issued "Reconnected Live", a live album featuring selections from their 2008 reunion tour.

Thanks for the info, Bellenger (and welcome to the board!) Unless I find a really great price on this I think I'd do better to get the two original albums and maybe the Reconnected EP.

Thanks. I've been a visitor of this board since 2008 ... well, actually, I visited this board even before that. I believe that it used to be located elsewhere. I can't remember though. I just haven't posted very much over the years (as you can see). I usually just check on this place (usually on a daily basis) in order to see what new reissues are on the way (and yes, some new releases as well). If you are planning on purchasing both albums, you may want to try the Yazoo "In My Room" box set from 2008 since it features both albums remastered, a bonus disc of b-sides and 12" remixes, and a bonus DVD). I think that the box could have included a few extra things, however, such as BBC Sessions, a couple more rare remixes, and "Get Set", of course. I haven't quite decided yet if I will purchase this new "Collection" since those remixes from the "Reconnected EP" would be nice to have on CD. Then again, after "The Very Best Of Blancmange" MP3 issue on the same label I have to admit that I'm afraid that we may get MP3s again.
